What Is DevLys 010?

DevLys 010 is a Devanagari font built on the same idea as Kruti Dev: a non-Unicode, ASCII-based typeface that maps ordinary keyboard keys to Hindi characters using the Remington typewriter layout. It’s a completely separate font family, not a Kruti Dev variant. But it grew out of the same typewriter tradition Hindi typists have used for decades.

The letterforms differ slightly, with their own proportions and stroke style. The mechanics underneath, though, work the same way.
